Designed into a wonderful thought, Sway my heart like a tree in the wind, Grasp my hand like a dear old friend, Lift me up and let me fly, Hold my head and let me cry, Push my back until it’s humbled for you, Crumble my soul, make it brand new, Rest your eyes on my life, Mold my body to shape its new life, Bewilder my brain and release its strife, Every move, Every breath, You give me strength to push through the rest, Without you I’d be nothing, Merely a speck of white sky, I’d have no beginning, I’d have no thought to ask why, But I am made from you, By you’re beautiful talented hands, I think I’ve got my life mapped out, But you just laughs at my plans, You know my beginning, My middle, My end, You are the Creator, I am your clay, You mold and shape me, To make me who I am to this day, My trust is in you, Creator of the universe, So why do I worry, When you’ve always cured my hurt, You made the heavens, The Earth and the sky, You filled the oceans with water, The fields with grass, The days with sunlight, And the nights with stars, Yet somehow you had enough to still create me, Just a simple thing I seem to be, Compared to your world I am a speck, But in your eyes I have no reason to give up yet, You made me from love, From a purpose of above, I can’t comprehend what tomorrow you have planned, But I know the God of this universe took the time to mold me right inside of his hand.
