Pride is a funny thing.
Take a stab at someone else’s and you might as well be jabbing at your own,
Push them off their high horse,
Then they come right back around shoving at you with no remorse.
They lack the knowledge that you provide them with,
They know you’re right,
But they’d rather defend themselves and be in a tiff.
They’ll shoot back with words sharper than...

God, knows I’m worth it.

I need some form of expression,

I’m missing out on what my life has missed,
